Clearsight Begins Licensing Deal with Cartwheel
Clearsight Therapeutics, a company founded by eye care industry veterans to advance treatments for widespread ocular conditions, has taken a major step toward bringing its over-the-counter pink eye solution to consumers. Cartwheel, a mission-driven provider of modern first aid products, has signed a letter of intent (LOI) to license Clearsight’s innovative pink eye treatment beginning in 2027. Clearsight’s upcoming OTC eye drop is designed to offer a safe, effective, and accessible option for the millions affected by pink eye each year—aligning with the company’s commitment to improving everyday eye health through scientifically grounded innovation. "Cartwheel is committed to bringing first aid into the 21st century by offering modern, effective solutions for everyday health challenges," said Joanna Shu, CEO of Cartwheel. "This new addition fits squarely within our mission to support families with products they can trust, and we're thrilled to work with Clearsight Therapeutics to help bring their innovative eye drop to market." The agreement marks a strategic milestone for Clearsight Therapeutics as it advances consumer-friendly treatments that elevate care for common eye conditions.
