CPRIT Awards More Than $103 Million in Cancer Grants to Expand Research and Rural Clinical Trial Access Across Texas
The Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) approved more than $103 million in new cancer research and innovation grants supporting institutions and companies across the state. The funding will expand rural clinical trial infrastructure, strengthen cancer research core facilities, support childhood and adolescent cancer survivorship studies, and help recruit and train the next generation of Texas scientists. The investment reinforces Texas’ position as one of the nation’s largest public funders of cancer research while increasing access to clinical trials and advanced cancer care in underserved communities.
