EcoLab Partners with CBRE on Water Management
Ecolab has announced a strategic partnership with CBRE, the world’s largest commercial real estate services firm, to help clients improve water efficiency, quality, and performance across their building portfolios. Together, the companies will bring Ecolab’s water management expertise to CBRE’s network of nearly 8 billion square feet of managed properties worldwide—facilities that collectively use more than 100 billion gallons of water each year. Through this collaboration, CBRE clients will gain access to Ecolab’s advanced water technologies and services integrated into CBRE’s real estate solutions. “Water is central to operational impact and profitable growth,” said Emilio Tenuta, Ecolab’s senior vice president and chief sustainability officer. “In manufacturing, up to 75% of energy flows through water systems.That makes water efficiency—and water quality—a powerful lever for climate resilience and business performance .” Ecolab’s programs have already helped thousands of organizations save billions of gallons of water while reducing energy use and emissions.
