Hamilton Company and Takara Bio USA announced a development and co-marketing partnership to create automated next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation workflows for laboratories. The collaboration integrates Takara Bio’s SMART-Seq library preparation kits with Hamilton’s Microlab STAR liquid handling systems to improve efficiency, scalability, and reproducibility. By automating these workflows, the partnership aims to reduce manual labor, minimize errors, and enable higher-throughput genomic research for core facilities and research labs.
