Nanoscope Therapeutics announced that Japan’s PMDA accepted its New Drug Application for MOGENRY (MCO-010) and granted it priority review for inherited retinal dystrophies. The application is supported by positive Phase 2b/3 RESTORE and long-term follow-up data in retinitis pigmentosa, along with Phase 2 STARLIGHT data in Stargardt disease. If approved, MOGENRY could become Japan’s first disease-agnostic treatment for inherited retinal dystrophies, with potential U.S. and Japanese approvals expected in the first half of 2027.
