UNT Health Opens Applications for New Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences

UNT Health Fort Worth announced that applications are now open for its new Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences program, with classes expected to begin this fall pending final approvals. The doctoral degree in the College of Pharmacy will focus on advancing drug discovery, development, and translational research, addressing workforce demand and offering interdisciplinary training across areas like medicinal chemistry and pharmacology. Once fully approved, it will be the first program of its kind in the Dallas‑Fort Worth metroplex, preparing graduates for careers in industry, research, and academia.
