UT Dallas Launches Startup Founders Award Program to Boost Student Entrepreneurship
The University of Texas at Dallas announced a new Startup Founders Award, funded by the Draper Foundation, offering up to $5,000 per semester and structured workshops, mentorship, and accountability to help student startup teams move from idea to early venture progress. The inaugural cohort includes 10 student‑led startups across disciplines, and the program complements other entrepreneurship opportunities like the Draper Pitch Competition for early‑stage founders.
