UT Dallas Professor G. Andrés Cisneros Elected AAAS Fellow
Dr. G. Andrés Cisneros, professor and head of the physics department at The University of Texas at Dallas, has been elected a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) in the 2025 class for his contributions to biophysics, computational enzymology, and computational chemistry. His interdisciplinary research includes developing advanced simulation methods to study DNA transaction proteins, offering key insights into fundamental biological processes and disease biomarkers. Cisneros and his fellow AAAS honorees will be recognized at a ceremony in Washington, D.C., on May 29, highlighting the distinguished scientific achievements of nearly 450 researchers worldwide.
