UT Dallas Study Finds Cognitive Capacity Can Be Strengthened at Any Age Through Brain Training
Researchers at the University of Texas at Dallas’ Center for BrainHealth found that cognitive abilities can improve across the lifespan, challenging the idea that mental decline is inevitable with aging. The three-year study tracked nearly 4,000 adults and showed that participants who engaged in short, daily brain training exercises experienced measurable gains in attention, clarity, emotional balance, and overall brain performance. Results suggest that consistent cognitive engagement not age, education, or demographic factors is the strongest predictor of improvement in brain health outcomes.
